Ryan Maxfield, General Manager

Ryan learned the aviation business from the ground up by fueling and washing airplanes, sweeping hangar floors, and mowing grass at his local airport. Being around airplanes at such a young age, Ryan was bitten by the flying bug so it was only natural for him to begin flying prior to drivers education! He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Flight Technology from Indiana State University in 2005. While at ISU he competed, then later coached the ISU flight team for the National Intercollegiate Flying Association competition. He was also a supervisor of flight for the school where he additionally instructed students in instrument flight, tail wheel, commercial flight, multi – engine, and his dearest aviation endeavor, aerobatics.

Ryan went on to work for the Indiana Department of Transportation as Indiana’s Chief Airport Inspector and later as the Operations Managers of the Indianapolis International Airport. Ryan also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis with concentrations in marketing and finance. Today Ryan is a corporate pilot and General Manger for Indy Jet Holding’s; based out of the Indianapolis Regional Airport (MQJ). Whether learning a new aspect of the flying business or helping an aspiring pilot earn his wings, Ryan is fully immersed in aviation. He currently holds ratings in the C-525, C-550B, andC-560XL.

Amber Lloyd, Customer Service Manager

A recent graduate from Purdue University’s Aviation Management Program, Amber Lloyd is thrilled to be a part of the aviation industry. Starting out as a Professional Flight Major, she had her sights set on flying for one of the major airline carriers and traveling the world. As she got deeper in her studies she soon realized that aviation management would provide her the optimal mix of flying and business. This propelled her to do undergraduate research with Delta Airlines, win a Boeing Business Case Competition, and much more before attaining a Bachelor’s in Aviation Management. If you were to ask Amber about the impact of her major switch she would say, “Why just work on the ground, when you can get the best of both worlds?”

Today, you can find Amber working for Indy Jet at the Indianapolis Regional Airport serving as Customer Service Manager. As a facility that provides aviation services and products such as, aircraft corporate hangars, fuel services, pilot training, aircraft maintenance, charter brokerage, and aircraft sales; customer service is a main priority for this FBO.

Jeff Dunham, Line Service Manager

Jeff brings with him over seven years of experience as a line service technician.  A native of Jackson, Wyoming, Jeff started working for Jackson Hole Aviation after graduating college from the University of Wyoming.  Jeff eventually became the Fuel Farm Manager at Jackson Hole, managing a facility that saw an output of over 4 million gallons of fuel annually.  Jeff later moved to Denver, Colorado and worked at the Denver Jet Center at the Centennial Airport which is the third busiest General Aviation airport in the country.  At the Denver Jet Center Jeff became a Crew Chief, supervising his shift of 7 line personnel.  Jeff and his wife Ashley, who are both from Indiana, decided to move to the Hoosier state with their two girls in the summer of 2014.  Jeff has since taken over the Line Service Manager position and with his experience and leadership has helped Indy Jet to become one of the premier FBO’s in the region.
